Stainless steel water pipe pressure operation process


If you want to know whether the connection of the stainless steel water pipe is firm, the pressure test of the water pipe is one of the most commonly used methods. The pressure test is generally completed by the installation company, the owner and the project leader. How to operate? It is a common problem to find that the pipe is damaged. What is the pressure test of the stainless steel water pipe for home improvement?

1. What is the standard

1. The hydrostatic pressure of the hydrostatic test should be the working pressure of the pipeline, the test pressure should not be lower than 0.80mpa, the working pressure of the pipeline should be less than 0.8MPa, and the hydrostatic pressure test pressure should be 0.8MPa. The air pressure test cannot replace the hydrostatic test.
2. After the pipe is filled with water, check the exposed joints that are not filled, and eliminate any leakage.
3. The length of the pipeline hydrostatic test should not exceed 1000 meters. For the pipe section with accessories in the middle, the length of the hydrostatic test section shall not exceed 500 meters. Pipes of different materials in the system should be tested separately.
4. The end of the test pressure pipe section should be checked firmly and reliably. During the pressure test, the supporting facilities must not be loosened and collapsed, and the valve must not be used as a sealing plate.
5. The mechanical equipment with metering device should be replaced during the pressurization process, the accuracy is not less than 1.5, the test pressure is 1.9~1.5 times of the metering range, and the diameter of the dial is not less than 150 mm.

2. Test procedure

1. The length of the stainless steel water pipe for home decoration should be purchased according to the actual situation, and the maximum length should not exceed 500 meters.
2. Sealing flanges should be installed on both sides of the pipeline. After the middle is sealed with a silicon plate and fastened with bolts, a ball valve should be provided, and the ball valve is the water inlet and the water outlet.
3. Install a pressure gauge at the water inlet.
4. In the absence of pressure, a press should be used to inject water into the pipeline, and attention should be paid to opening the vent hole when injecting water.
5. After the pipe is filled with water, the vent hole should be closed.
6. Gradually increase the pipeline pressure until the test pressure is stable for 30 minutes. If the pressure drops, the pressure can be increased in the injection water, but the test pressure cannot be exceeded.
7. Check the joints and pipe parts for leaks. If yes, stop testing the pressure, find out the cause of the leak and fix it. Follow sequence 5 to test the pressure again.
8. The pressure release should reach 50% of the maximum test pressure.
9. If the pressure is stable at 50% of the maximum pressure, and the pressure rises, it indicates that there is no pressure leak.
10. The appearance should be checked again 90 inches, if there is no leakage, the test pressure is qualified.
